Contract Terminals
Enbridge has established a significant presence in contract storage in recent years, largely driven by increasing production of Western Canadian crude oil and the need for additional transportation infrastructure to penetrate new markets in the United States. Currently, Enbridge is operating, or has under construction, contract storage at the following locations.

Cushing
Cushing, Oklahoma is the most important crude oil storage hub in the world and the location of settlement of the NYMEX WTI contract. With 14.8 million barrels of storage capacity, Enbridge has the largest terminal in the Cushing area.
Hardisty
Hardisty, Alberta is emerging as the most important crude oil storage hub in Canada. Enbridge operates 3 million barrels of salt cavern storage at Hardisty and is currently constructing a new terminal with an initial capacity of 7.5 million barrels of above ground storage which will be one of the largest crude oil storage terminals in North America. Construction wil be complete by the end of 2009.
