Globe 2016 Perspectives: fusion power

When it comes to renewable energy, most people think of solar power, wind power and tidal power. But Paul Sullivan says another option, called fusion, could transform the world’s energy supply.

It is a complicated process that’s still in development. But at its essence, the molecules in seawater are fused together to create energy without the creation of greenhouse gases.

“It’s definitely a game changer,” says Sullivan.

Paul Sullivan spoke about the potential for fusion energy at the GLOBE 2016 Conference and Innovation Expo in Vancouver in March. He was not paid for his comments. GLOBE is North America’s largest and longest-running conference series dedicated to business innovation and climate change solutions for the planet.
