A proposed compressor station on Enbridge’s Aspen Point Project will be named Wǫchiigii, or Peace River in the Dane-zaa Beaver language, as part of our ongoing relationship with the Doig River First Nation, located in northeastern British Columbia.

An Enbridge Ecofootprint grant is helping Bayfield County restore, protect and connect the globally imperiled pine-oak barrens in northern Wisconsin while boosting species diversity. The barrens are home to sharp-tailed grouse, upland sandpiper and a variety of pollinator plants. 

Michelle is our Westcoast Transmission South operations manager in British Columbia—the region’s first female area manager in history, in fact. “Bringing some diversity into these roles helps strengthen the teams. It brings in a different perspective,” she says.

At Enbridge, we monitor our pipelines around the clock, 365 days a year, using trained operators and multiple computer monitoring systems. Because for us, safety isn’t just a job. It’s a 24/7 commitment.

Mark joined Enbridge to source and recruit Indigenous talent through our organization. “I wanted to make a difference with Indigenous communities, and break down those employment barriers . . . Enbridge is definitely a leader when it comes to Indigenous representation.”

Safety at Enbridge is a way of life, says Tia Chase, a senior safety advisor at our Keechi Wind Project near Jacksboro, TX. “Trust is really important in the workplace. We’re all responsible for each other’s safety when we’re up there,” she says.

Inline inspection (ILI) tools move through our pipeline network and use advanced sensor technology to inspect pipe walls millimeter by millimeter. They identify and report even the most minuscule changes that may require follow-up maintenance.

In September 2022, Enbridge and 23 Indigenous communities from northern Alberta signed a deal that gave the communities an equity interest in seven Enbridge pipelines. Six months later, those communities are already using the revenue to enhance the well-being of their people.

The project will provide up to 535 MMcf/d of new transportation capacity on T-North. The BC Pipeline has been the backbone of the province’s natural gas industry since 1957.

We are proposing to design, construct and operate the Ridgeline Expansion Project (Ridgeline), an expansion of Enbridge’s existing East Tennessee Natural Gas (ETNG) system.

The Project will provide up to 300 million cubic feet per day (MMcf/d) of additional natural gas transportation capacity on T-South. The BC Pipeline has been the backbone of the province’s natural gas industry since 1957.

This 2.1 million-tonne-per-year LNG export facility will have 250,000 m³ of floating storage capacity and be based near Squamish, BC.

The 448-megawatt (MW) wind farm will feature 64 7-MW Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy (SGRE) turbines to be manufactured in France. The turbines will come from the same Quai, Joannes Couvert plant where SGRE made turbines for our Fécamp offshore wind project.
