Dawn Solar and Battery Energy Storage Project

Enbridge Inc. had proposed to build the hybrid Dawn Solar and Battery Energy Storage Project to provide clean electricity to the Dawn Storage Facility and Compressor Station. Enbridge has now cancelled this project.

The Dawn Solar and Battery Energy Storage Project would have helped Enbridge Gas reduce emissions from electricity consumption at its operations in Dawn-Euphemia, Ontario. This was in support of Enbridge’s broader corporate goal of reducing its emissions intensity by 35% by 2030, and to be net-zero by 2050.
