Environmental assessment and field studies

Westcoast is planning to conduct environmental studies, archaeological assessments and geotechnical field work, starting in the spring of 2025. The environmental field studies will include water and land-based environments, wildlife and their habitat, and historical and cultural assessments.

This work will help with design of the project, including routing and site selection, and identification of measures to mitigate potential effects of the project on the environment and local communities.
