For more than four decades, the St. Ignace Car Show Weekend has attracted thousands of car enthusiasts and others eager to enjoy one of Michigan’s summer highlights.

Organized by the St. Ignace Visitors Bureau, the three-day event showcased all the Upper Peninsula offers.

“The car show is vitally important to the economic prosperity of our community,” said Lauren Brown, Enbridge community engagement advisor and St. Ignace native.

“Located just over the Mackinac Bridge, St. Ignace relies heavily on tourism, and  the car show is an engaging, great way to make visitors to the area feel welcomed by local businesses.”

Enbridge was among the local businesses that participated in the event. Enbridge staff distributed more than 750 water bottles and Koozies® at its Enbridge Informational Center on State Street in St. Ignace. Along with the 938 cars on display, more than 25,000 visitors to the June 22 -June 25 event enjoyed food and music.
