Regulatory Information
The Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) has issued Docket No. CP24-49-000 for the Sakonnet River Replacement Project.
FERC issued an environmental assessment on June 5, 2024, determining that approval of the project would not constitute a major federal action significantly affecting the quality of the human environment.
On June 27, 2024, FERC issued an order authorizing construction of the project as described in the prior notice request.
