Linda Popejoy, a printing line lead, has worked at the Grand Rapids, MN location for more than 10 years. 

MDI began in 1964. In 2014, MDI celebrated 50 years and moved  from St. Paul to its current facility in Minneapolis. This location offers production services, including kitting, assembly, packaging, and shrink wrapping.

“One thing we put a lot of emphasis on is investing in our people. About 18 months ago, we developed a program called Career Skills, with the first phase focusing on Career Skills 101,” says MDI president Peter McDermott.

Joe, a hand assembler, has worked at MDI for several years, and likes meeting new people and folding totes and boxes with friends. Plus, he likes making money, too!
