Rusk County Historical Society Museum: Illuminating history

The Rusk County Historical Society Museum, in Ladysmith, WI, has 16 buildings on its campus and more than 9,000 artifacts. “Everything we have here is important to the community, because it is the community. It’s their history,” says Sister Cecilia, president of the historical society. The museum recently held an official reopening to show off the facility’s new LED lighting system, established in part through a Fueling Futures grant from Enbridge. Says Nancy, the society secretary: “Yes—we are illuminating history!”
