‘They put their money where their mouth is’
Roland, a Tribal liaison with Enbridge and an enrolled member of the Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians, notes that Enbridge has already well surpassed its target of $100 million for Tribal affiliation work opportunities on the Line 3 Replacement Project. “I have never worked for a better company. They put their money where their mouth is, including Tribal employment,” he says. “They are actively recruiting Native American people to work for them, and help them steer their vision—not only in front-line workers, but actually in senior management too.”
