‘Keeping our good water quality is a passion’

Chalked up as a huge success, the Tyler Forks River crossing project completed this fall in Iron County, WI was funded in partnership with an Ecofootprint grant from Enbridge. “Partnerships is how we get a bulk of our work done here in Iron County, especially when you have big projects,” reports Heather, a Land and Water Conservationist with Iron County. Heather, a keen outdoors enthusiast, remarks: “Keeping the good water quality that we have here is a passion. Iron County is really lucky to have intact, pristine natural resources and specifically water quality.” Keeping good water quality in the Tyler Forks River impacts water quality that flows into the Bad River, and eventually Lake Superior—critical for both its watershed and the Great Lakes.
