‘It’s a need that’s not going to go away’
For nearly 50 years, the Hubbard County Developmental Achievement Center in Park Rapids, MN has provided employment opportunities, life skills training and recreational programming for disabled adults. “We provide a place where they can be with their friends, work with their friends, and make some money—because they have dreams and goals like the rest of us,” says Laura, the executive director of the Hubbard County DAC. Enbridge is committed to improving quality of life in the communities where we operate, and a recent donation by Enbridge will help the Hubbard County DAC make some much-needed building upgrades.
