Michigan Tribal businesswoman: ‘I support the Great Lakes Tunnel’
Linda was born and raised in Michigan as a member of the Sault Tribe of Chippewa Indians. Back in 2004, she formed the Jeta Corporation, a distribution and supply company that operates coast-to-coast, and serves the energy and power generation industries. Recently, the Native American/women-owned business opened an office in Linda’s hometown of Sault Ste. Marie, which is staffed by Tribal members. “I support the Great Lakes Tunnel—because of their safety program, because it protects the safety of our waterways,” says Linda, whose company performs contract work for Enbridge through our supply chain Tribal engagement program. “We need to protect everything we can for the coming generations.”
