Put your technical cap on at Enbridge, where women are encouraged to join the STEM field. “For any woman coming up in the engineering space, don’t let anybody tell you can’t do it. I’ve had great mentors at Enbridge. You have people here who make you feel comfortable in your working environment,” says Lela, a pipeline engineering supervisor based in Houston. While the STEM field is traditionally male dominated, that’s steadily changing, notes Kelly, an Edmonton-based instrumentation specialist. “Enbridge is a safe place to work with our values of integrity, respect and inclusion,” she says.
