Does Enbridge have a climate policy?

Enbridge’s company-wide climate policy, announced in March 2016, recognizes that the world must find new ways to meet increasing demand for energy from a growing global population, while limiting the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions that cause climate change.

Our updated policy commits us to:

• Adopt multi-year plans and goals for carbon reduction and energy efficiency;
• Integrate climate risk into business development;
• Integrate climate considerations into supply chain management;
• Expand access to natural gas and renewable energy; and
• Expand consumer access to energy efficiency programs and services through our gas utility, Enbridge Gas Inc.
