In the recent merger with Spectra, can a Spectra shareholder get the new shares issued in U.S. funds rather than on the Canadian exchange?

Hi Mervyn,

Spectra shares will be exchanged for Enbridge shares. You can choose to trade these shares on either in USD on the NYSE or in CAD on the TSX. If you currently hold your Spectra shares in a USD account, your new Enbridge shares will also be reflected in USD.

You cannot choose to receive cash instead of your Enbridge shares.
