Ingleside Energy Center Projects
The Enbridge Ingleside Energy Center (EIEC) is the largest crude oil storage and export terminal by volume in the United States.
The terminal is strategically located in Ingleside, Texas with access to marine waterfront, a gateway to international shipping lanes, and pipeline connectivity, making it a cost-advantaged location for storing and exporting crude oil and other products.
Enbridge is proposing to build projects at Ingleside that would:
- enhance the EIEC's oil export capabilities
- produce blue ammonia, a clean fuel source with potential in transportation, power generation and energy storage
Ingleside Phase 7 Tank Expansion
This proposed project includes the construction of five additional tanks at the existing facility and will expand the crude oil storage capacity at the terminal. Learn more.
Project YaREN: Blue ammonia at Ingleside
Project YaREN is being developed by Enbridge and Yara Clean Ammonia through their joint venture Ingleside Clean Ammonia Partners (ICAP). Low-carbon ammonia, or blue ammonia, is a production method that produces up to 95% fewer carbon emissions than traditional ammonia production. Learn more.
Proposed Corpus Christi Carbon Dioxide Pipeline Project
Enbridge and its potential joint venture partner, Oxy Low Carbon Ventures (OLCV), continue to work towards jointly developing a carbon dioxide (CO2) sequestration hub in the Corpus Christi area of the Texas Gulf Coast. Learn more.
Proposed Corpus Christi Natural Gas Pipeline Project
The proposed project would consist of a new, approximately 18-mile-long, 20-inch-diameter pipeline. This pipeline will transport natural gas from the existing Texas Eastern Transmission, LP pipeline, connecting near the town of Taft, in San Patricio County, Texas, to an M&R station near the Enbridge Ingleside Energy Center.
