US Army Corps receives public comments on Great Lakes Tunnel Project

Another important step in the permitting process for Enbridge’s construction of the Great Lakes Tunnel took place Sept. 8 in St. Ignace, MI. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) held an in-person public meeting to receive public comments on the Environmental Impact Statement it is preparing for Enbridge’s permit application.

Elected officials, business leaders, union workers, Tribal members and residents voiced their support for Enbridge’s Great Lakes Tunnel Project.

The next public meeting will be held virtually on Oct. 6.
