Texas Eastern Line 31 Expansion Project
With the growing demand for reliable energy sources with lower emissions, Texas Eastern Transmission (Texas Eastern) is proposing an expansion of its interstate natural gas pipeline system in Mississippi called the Texas Eastern Line 31 Expansion Project.
The proposed scope currently includes the installation of approximately 12.5 miles of pipeline and one new meter station in Madison County.
The Project will provide up to 160,000 dekatherms per day (Dth/d) of additional natural gas transportation capacity on the Texas Eastern system.
All necessary regulatory authorizations from the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and other federal and state agencies are required before construction of the project can commence. Pending a positive final investment decision and the approval and receipt of all necessary permits, construction would begin in the fourth quarter of 2027 with a target in-service date of October 2028.
