Taking safety in our community seriously

Enbridge’s emergency response crews recently took part in an equipment deployment exercise on the Mississippi River near Grand Rapids, MN, alongside local and Tribal first responders, law enforcement, emergency management and government agencies. During this drill (one of about 200 such scenarios we stage across our operations every year), we deployed both our incident management and field response teams to sharpen our emergency preparedness and response systems in the unlikely event of a pipeline release. “We are prepared,” says Trevor, a pipeline maintenance supervisor with Enbridge. “These deployments give us the confidence to know that we’ll do what we say what we’re going to do.”
