Canadian Prairies women in operations: Jenny

Jenny, an electrician by trade, works as a maintenance planning supervisor with Enbridge’s Liquids Pipelines group. She’s based in our Sherwood Park, AB office, but visits her team members regularly at Enbridge field facilities. “Working with my hands, that’s who I am—at home and at work. And if that’s something that drives you, that you’re passionate about, then Enbridge would be a place for you,” she says. Jenny is tasked with strategic decisions on maintenance planning and scheduling in the region, ensuring our assets are well cared for and remain fit for purpose. “Through my career, as a woman in the trades, I’ve worked at a lot of places, and Enbridge definitely is leading the charge in allowing an equitable opportunity as a woman,” she remarks. “Knowing that doors are open—and that if I can work hard and prove myself, they’ll be open to me too—that’s really important.”
