‘Enbridge has a history of working with the Indigenous’

John, a Tribal member of the Bad River Band of Lake Superior Chippewa, spoke with us at the June 4, 2024 U.S. Army Corps of Engineering public hearing on Enbridge’s Line 5 Wisconsin Segment Relocation Project, and shared some of the reasons he supports the project. “Enbridge has a history of working with the Indigenous to bring them into the trades. The economic impact is huge. (The project) is going to provide jobs for many people around here. It supports family. It supports everybody. It’s life changing.”
