When will Enbridge provide the additional 5% dividend promised when the Spectra merger was complete?

Hi Grace,

On January 5, 2017 Enbridge announced a 10% increase to its quarterly dividend, to CAD $0.583 per common share (CAD $2.33 on an annualized basis). At the next regularly scheduled dividend announcement following close of the acquisition of Spectra Energy (mid-May), Enbridge expects to further increase its quarterly common share dividend by an amount sufficient to bring the quarterly common share dividend to approximately 15% above the prevailing quarterly rate in 2016.
