‘This is my dream job’

Mark, a Fond du Lac band member, is a heavy equipment operator working on Enbridge’s Line 3 replacement as a member of Local 49 of the International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE). Mark is a graduate of the Five Skies training partnership, sponsored by Enbridge. “This is my dream job. I’ve tried to get into heavy equipment for many years, and then Five Skies came along,” he says. “The door opened, and here I am. “My family’s really proud of what I’m doing. I love it. It makes me feel good.”
