A ‘visionary’ public health initiative for Pembina County

North Dakota’s Pembina County applied and received funds from Enbridge’s Community Investment grant program, which the county earmarked for vision screening. “For Pembina County, this is a huge opportunity for us to identify visual problems in kids as young as six months of age. Because of this, we’ve already been in the schools and referred kids. It’s just absolutely phenomenal,” says Julie, Pembina County Health Director.
