Kahua for Projects

Enbridge’s Projects organization is transitioning to Kahua, a cloud-based platform that will support the delivery of capital projects from initiation through closure. This new system will improve project management and delivery and change the way Projects and suppliers work together.

What is Kahua?

Kahua is an integrated data management, project management and document management system accessible by Enbridge and our material and service suppliers. It is one place for project asset data and records. It allows suppliers and Enbridge project teams to interact in the same environment to create, share, and manage project data and records across all projects.

Working in Kahua

  • No fee for a Kahua account. No VPN Access required.
  • Consistent processes for all Enbridge Projects organization work.
  • Web and mobile enabled for anytime, anywhere access.
  • Access Kahua for all up-to-date project information and submitting documents.

Transition to Kahua

Beginning November 2024, selected projects will be the first to migrate to Kahua. New 2025 projects will be managed in Kahua. As a supplier, you will be notified on award if the project you will be supporting will be managed in Kahua.

Until all capital projects transition to Kahua, projects will be managed in existing systems and Kahua.

Accessing Kahua

Enbridge will manage the setup of Kahua accounts for suppliers awarded work to support a Kahua managed project. Requests are submitted by the Enbridge Project team. You will receive an email notification from Kahua confirming “Your new Kahua account is ready.”
